DESIGNER'S NOTES

The “Soma Tattoo Top” is cut from stretch-mech to give a second skin fit.

A signature of the Yassmin Saleh label, this season’s Tattoo is a sartorial love letter to a population born again, working to uproot themselves to keep their ecosystem alive in a new world. The drawings create a realistic tattoo effect and beautifully represent what the collection stands for: reborn idealism, hope, and growth.

Among the symbols that were presented:

• Flaura and Fauna - reflecting growth and nature
• Whole Foods - reflecting health and wellbeing to regenerate the reborn soul
• Clams and Coral – representing the depths of the ocean and the richness available to us
• All Seeing Eye – representing a new perspective and renewed purpose for a better tomorrow
• SOMA in words – English tell-tale placed on the chest area to support the rise of a population post-anarchy, taking charge
