BEHIND THE PERU GOWN

The best part releasing a collection is showing youthe thought process and craftsmanship behind each piece.I wanted to create a piece that binds classical techniquesalong with bold and contrasting colors and shapes.

The Mountain Gown embodies the summit of allemotions combined, that adrenaline rush after the highs and the lows, thatperfect moment where everything feels right.Inspired by the Winikunka mountain of Peru, and the colorsof the beautifully flying fishing net, the 27 shades of tulle are selected andready for sampling.

We then cut strips of each color one by one and createruffles. The next step is carefully placing the ruffles to create twoinverted mountain at the bustier and skirt.The pieces all come together to create a strapless gownfilled with colors.
